Berm Highlights

The berm serves as a vibrant focal point at the front of the property and creates a welcoming visual introduction from the southeast approach. A strategically placed boulder ties this feature into the overall landscape, echoing the materials used in the retaining wall. The bed is primarily planted with perennial flowers selected to provide seasonal color in both early and late parts of the year. Vertical interest is introduced through an ornamental maple tree, while a single evergreen ensures year-round structure and visual appeal, even in winter. Just north of the berm, the flowerbed along the shop is planted with hollyhocks, which add both color and height to soften and visually break up the solid gray exterior wall.
