I am an accomplished and strategic leader in UX research and data science with a robust track record spanning over a decade. My career is characterized by a deep commitment to understanding user needs and advancing product design to drive meaningful business outcomes. With a Master’s degree in Survey Research and Methodology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I am a seasoned mixed-methods researcher with expertise in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
Currently, as the Head of Data Science and Marketing at Computer Quest, LLC, I lead initiatives that translate complex client needs into actionable technical plans. I drive robust solutions in cybersecurity and disaster recovery while optimizing technology architecture and user interfaces. My role involves not only developing IT support strategies but also enhancing client engagement through strategic marketing and UX regression testing, which significantly improves website functionality and user experience.
Previously, at Meta, I served as a UX Research Manager where I led and mentored a diverse team of UX researchers. I was instrumental in developing and executing research roadmaps that aligned with organizational goals, enhancing product impact and user satisfaction across various platforms. My efforts in transforming user data into actionable insights and fostering cross-functional partnerships were pivotal in guiding strategic product decisions and achieving high-performance ratings.
At Nielsen, where I held several key positions including Director of Data Science, I directly managed cross-functional teams in Data Science, UX Research, and Product Design. I managed large teams and substantial research budgets, overseeing diverse functions and ensuring cohesive collaboration. My work involved developing advanced digital audience measurement methodologies and innovative techniques for media consumption analysis, significantly influencing audience measurement practices and organizational strategies.
My journey in research began at Nielsen as a Research Scientist, where I stabilized TV Diary response rates, executed comprehensive UX testing, and pioneered the use of eye-tracking and passive research methods. These innovations helped enhance product development and panelist recruitment through rigorous research methodologies and collaborative efforts.
My strategic planning and roadmapping skills drive key team processes, enhance organizational performance, and build inclusive cultures. My proficiency in process optimization and client engagement ensures that research efforts are aligned with business objectives and deliver impactful results. I am a Green Belt in business process improvement certified through Nielsen's internal lean six sigma training. I also find joy in teaching and mentoring, helping others grow and succeed in their careers.
When I’m not immersed in advancing research, design, and statistical analysis, I enjoy teaching barre fitness classes and spending time with my four hairless cats.
