I created this classroom as a tool for my students while they were remote learning. This was especially critical during remote learning as virtual classrooms allow for healthy and convenient interaction between teachers and students when they are not face-to-face. I enjoyed creating this classroom and it allowed me to learn a lot about this method of instruction.
For my movement analysis project during my masters program at Cortland, I used video recordings to both analyze my student, and provide instructions/interventions to her for her learning. This project showed me a way to engage with my students from a distance. My student was able to effectively learn some critical elements and cues of dribbling while practicing on her own time. Video analysis could also be useful in-person in the gym because it allows students to see their own performance and reflect and highlight areas for improvement.
