Lessons taught in English sessions include (but are not limited to): creative writing, non-fiction writing, phonics games and activities and reading comprehension activities.
Whether your child needs some help to plan stories, create exciting characters or simply needs help forming basic sentences, I can help!
Learning is fun when you make it so!
For example, in my sessions your child will learn through the use of games and activities. One good game I used with students in the past is 'Silly Sentences!'. Children have to come up with the most ridiculous sentence (making sure it is punctuated correctly) and get marked not only on their spelling, punctuation and grammar, but also on their use of bizarre and wonderful vocabulary.

In this session, my client learnt more about the UK and was able to read facts and write them in his own words, using powerful adjectives and illustrative drawings.

Story mapping helps children to remember a text or story inside out. They are then able to write the story using their images and their own words.
