EUROPA RP LAUNCHER - TERMS OF SERVICE

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before downloading, installing, or using the Europa RP Launcher (the "Launcher"). By installing or using the Launcher, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

1. About the Launcher

 i) The Europa RP Launcher is an entirely free project made by the community, for the community. There are no commercial fees, paid subscriptions, or monetary charges associated with using the Launcher or accessing the server. 

 ii) The Launcher is a desktop application provided by the Europa RolePlay team ("we", "us", "our"). It is a tool used to install, update, and start a modified San Andreas Multiplayer (SA-MP) client. As part of its normal operation, the Launcher may download, install, update, verify, and repair game files, mods, and plugins on your device; install or prompt you to install supporting components such as graphics and runtime drivers (e.g., DirectX, Visual C++ redistributables); automatically check for and install updates to the Launcher itself; store your settings and preferences locally on your device; and start the game and connect it to the server.

  iii) These Terms apply to the Launcher software only. Anything you do in-game and on the Europa RolePlay server is covered separately by the server and community rules and is not part of these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country, whichever is higher) to use the Launcher. If you are under 18, you confirm you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. License to Use

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Launcher for the sole purpose of accessing Europa RolePlay. You may not sell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the Launcher, and you may not reverse engineer, decompile, or modify it to bypass its security, update, or integrity checks, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

4. Third-Party Software

The Launcher installs and works alongside third-party software, including Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, San Andreas Multiplayer (SA-MP), MoonLoader, and related modifications. You are responsible for legally owning any base game required to play (for example, a legitimate copy of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas). Europa RolePlay launcher is an independent, fan-made project and is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, the SA-MP team, or any other rights holder. All trademarks and copyrights belong to their respective owners. That third-party software is governed by its own licenses and terms.

5. Acceptable Use

When using the Launcher, you agree that you will not tamper with or modify the Launcher or its files to bypass security, anti-cheat, update, or licensing measures; use the Launcher to download, install, or distribute malware or any unauthorized or harmful software; redistribute, repackage, or present the Launcher as your own; or use the Launcher for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law.

6. Updates

The Launcher may automatically check for, download, and install updates to itself and to required game files in order to keep the software working and secure. By using the Launcher, you consent to these automatic updates.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE LAUNCHER IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Launcher will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any download, installation, driver setup, or file repair will not affect your system. You install and use the Launcher at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR STAFF SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA OR DAMAGE TO YOUR DEVICE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE LAUNCHER. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be shown by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continuing to use the Launcher after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Launcher at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop distributing, updating, or supporting the Launcher, or disable access to it, at any time.
