CONTENT


On the one hand, adults will:

  • Conduct research on a subject they are not familiar with using different tools and resources
  • Plan a speech so that the target audience fully understands the message.
  • Work collaboratively with 6th grade students through telecollaboration meetings.
  • Advertise a board game so as to be successful in the market.


On the other hand, children will:

  • Select what elements to include in a board game
  • Interact and perform real interaction between the members
  • Produce feedback to peers
  • Design a board game
  • Perform a presentation in which the commercials are displayed


KEY COMPETENCES


  • Communicating in a foreign/mother tongue: Students demonstrate the ability of expressing and communicating facts and opinions (both orally and in writing) among the different members of the project in a language which is not their mother tongue (in the children’s case) or in a language which is (adults’ case)


  • Digital competence: There is a use of a wide range of digital resources such as google drive, advertisements, laptops, skype, etc.


  • Sense of initiative and entrepreneurship: The students are the owners of the projects and they had to have this sense of initiative and entrepreneurship in order to be able to launch a successful board game to the market.


  • Cultural awareness and expression: Students raise awareness of how different people can be, they contribute, share and they respect others’ ideas and opinions. They realise that there are different perspectives and points of view but that all of them need to be respected and appreciated.
