SEASON OF CREATION 2026
jubilee YEAR OF SAINT FRANCIS OF ASSISI
jubilee YEAR OF SAINT FRANCIS OF ASSISI
Pope Leo declared 2026 a special Jubilee Year of St. Francis to honor of the 800th anniversary of the beloved saint's death (transitus). This Jubilee revives the historic "Pardon of Assisi" and highlights the Franciscan message of mercy, peace and harmony in a world of division and uncertainty. See the "Canticle of Creation" exhibit of allegorical paintings that illustrate the familial bonds of God's creation Click here to view the exhibit.
TAKE ACTION. REWILD YOUR BACKYARD!
The US has 40+ million acres of lawn.. That's larger than any National Park. Your backyard is the ecosystem or a gap in it. For a toad: your yard is the universe. A box turtle: a 20 year home. A hummingbird: a stop on the way to Mexico. One yard. Native plants. No spray. Water. That's a wildlife refuge!
