General Information
This neighborhood is growing rapidly! There are many single-family townhomes, but it is running out of space for all of the new people moving there. People who want to live by the water flock to this neighborhood. An issue this neighborhood faces is that many people work downtown, which is not a walkable distance. Most people do not have cars. With all of the new people, some neighbors are concerned about it remaining a safe place, and having enough access to their needs. Residents wonder if the many parks should remain parks, or if they should convert some of these into accommodating the growing population needs.
General Information
People in this neighborhood are worried the population might begin to decline. As families grow and change, many people are realizing that all of their needs cannot be met. Specifically, an airport was recently built which provided many jobs, but they had to close a big school to make room. Now, the one school in the neighborhood is overcrowded. In addition, children don’t have anywhere to play. The airport is very loud, so residents do not want want to live close by. The neighborhood planners realize that many people travel to and from the airport and want to figure out how to use the land surrounding the noisy airport.
General Information
This neighborhood has financial difficulties. The residents don’t have access to health care or a library. They have to travel far for both of those. The alderman wants to make money by putting in high rise apartments along the lake. Unfortunately, much of the land in front of the lake is swampy and won’t support buildings. The community members want the limited lake space to be a place to gather and come together, as the residents complain there are no spaces for them to interact and meet other members in the neighborhood. Many residents of this neighborhood are concerned about the environment, so they ride bikes, recycle, and love green space!
