Winter is coming, and if you want to dominate Season 2 instead of struggling through it, this
guide will save you weeks of mistakes. New heroes, cross-state wars, massive badge
income, and events that most players misunderstand. Everything you need to know about
Season 2, the Everfrost Era, starts right now.
Welcome to 401's Complete Season 2 Guide. In this guide we will cover all core
mechanics of the Everfrost Era, including new heroes, alliance competition across states,
seasonal buildings, events, and rewardsWhether you are free to play or spending,
Season 2 is one of the most rewarding seasons in the game if you play it correctly.
Let's start with the foundation of Season 2. Season 2 is called the Everfrost Era.
The entire season is winter-themed, but the biggest change is how alliances interact across
states. Instead of competing only within your own state, you will be grouped together with
three other states, creating a four-state season group. The core mechanic of the season
revolves around alliances competing against each other across these states. You will be able
to explore other states, attack players outside your state, participate in cross-state events,
and fight for seasonal objectives.
Seasonal alliance centres, new seasonal buildings, glory wars, and new seasonal NPCs all
play a role in your progression. Everything you do feeds into season points, rankings, and
long-term rewards.
SEASON 2 HEROES
Now let's talk about the new seasonal heroes, because they are one of the most important power increases this season. Season 2 introduces three new heroes, Bella, from Blood Rose, Alma from Wings of Dawn and Harleyna from Guard of Order.
Bella looks like a pure tank on paper, but the trick in any Last Z Survival Shooter Bella build is that her kit secretly stacks damage while keeping your march alive. Instead of doing one big flashy hit, she keeps stomping, adding extra damage pulses every time her active goes off. She wins fights by surviving longer, hitting more ties, and pumping your Assaulter stats so the rest of your formation does the killing. Once she hits higher stars, her skills stop being tank utility and start becoming frontline damage pressure.
Bella charges forward and slams the enemy formation, dealing AoE damage. The base hit looks okay, but the magic is in the extra stomps she unlocks as you start her up. Each stomp is another damage hit inside the same skill window, which makes her burst scale harder than a typical tank. The longer the battle goes, the more often her skill comes off cooldown, and each time, she lands another stomp.

Star Level 5: Increases damage factor by an additional 210.
This is her damage engine over time. It makes her basic attacks hit harder, which sounds simple, but in extended clashes like Canyon Clash and rallies, those boosted hits add up fast. It’s the reason her total damage feels “too high for a Defense hero” when you check reports.
Think of this as Bella whispering “don’t die” to your formation. It increases troop HP right away and boosts Assaulter damage, so your frontline lives longer and your backline punches harder. Even at low stars, it gives noticeable durability. At higher stars, it feels like you suddenly upgraded your whole march.

“Deploying 5 Blood Rose heroes boost troop HP by 10%.“
Type: Exclusive Talent
This is her hidden late-game power. With a full Blood Rose Squad (5 heroes), your entire troop gets a fat HP bonus. Not hero HP troop HP, which multiplies with gear, research, and buffs. That’s why Bella is popular in Season 2 Blood Rose comps: she makes your march a brick wall.
One of the biggest power spikes for Bella comes from her exclusive equipment, Iron Roar. You unlock it by purchasing her special equipment pack in the game. Once obtained, you can activate it using swords (SS), which are collected through past season shops or special events. Here’s why Iron Roar is a must have for Bella and how it transforms her performance on the battlefield:
Skill Boost: Wrath of Justice damage factor increases by +150 per equipment level, giving her active a serious punch.
Troop Impact: More damage per stomp means extended fights favor your formation, stacking Assaulter damage efficiently.
Power Spike: Activating and upgrading Iron Roar can increase your overall march power by millions, which is huge in rallies and Canyon Clash.
If you’re wondering whether she’s worth investing your hard earned fragments and special gear on, here’s the lowdown. Bella isn’t just another tank. You’re not picking her for flash damage or quick wins. She’s about staying power, soaking hits, and slowly turning the tide of battle in your favour. So, is she worth it? Absolutely, If you like a hero who gets stronger the longer the fight lasts, and you want a Blood Rose squad that puts real pressure on opponents, then Bella is the right pick.
For long term strategy, durability, and scaling damage, Last Z Survival Shooter Bella is definitely worth it. To get the most out of Bella, focus on leveling her active skill and upgrading Iron Roar as early as possible. These directly boost her damage and overall march impact. Pair her with other Blood Rose heroes to maximize troop HP and unlock her full faction synergy. Bella truly shines in extended beatles, so deploy her in Canyon Clash or rallies where her scaling damage and durability can dominate. Finally, equip top-tier Assaulter gear in the rest of your march to fully capitalize on her buffs and turn your formation into an unstoppable frontline.
Conclusion: In the end, Bella proves that true power doesn’t always come from flashy one-shot damage. It comes from consistency, survivability, and amplifying your whole march’s strength over time. With her skills, she turns every long fight into an advantage for your formation. If you’re building for sustained power and want a hero that keeps giving throughout the fight, Last Z Survival Shooter Bella is a top tier investment you won’t regret.
Although Harleyna's role is listed as "Defense" on paper, a closer look at her skill tree reveals that she is actually an "Offensive Support". While they didn't suffer from a strong tank deficit throughout Season 1, they lagged behind Wings of Dawn and Blood Rose in terms of damage potential. Harleyna is designed to fill this gap

“Using 5 Guard of Order heroes increases your troops’ HP by 10%.”
Type: Exclusive Talent
Normal Attack and 5-Star Threshold: Harleyna's standard attacks gain a special buff when the character reaches 5 stars. This mechanic is designed to encourage players to "star-up" the character. A Harleyna below 5 stars can only utilize about 60% of her potential.
Ranged Troop Damage Increase: Harleyna's "March Skill" This ability directly increases the damage of specific unit types within the army (especially Riders or Shooters, which the Guard of Order specializes in). This allows the Guard of Order, a defensively oriented faction, to also have a say in the offensive side of battle.
Upon reaching 4 stars the "Exclusive Talent" unlocks, granting a 10% HP increase to the entire army . This bonus is stackable with "Peace Shield" or other global buffs from the technology tree. The impact of this 10% increase on the end-game scenario is as follows: In an army with Tier 9 or Tier 10 troops, a 10% HP increase means absorbing an extra 2-3 skill rotations from the enemy. This durability buys the time that DPS characters (like Sakura) behind Harleyna need to eliminate the enemy.
Alma particularly shines in S2's competitive mode, Canyon Clash . In this mode, area control and restricting enemy movement are more valuable than pure damage. Alma's abilities maximize the effectiveness of her teammates' area-of-effect (AoE) abilities by trapping enemy units in narrow canyon passages.

“Deploying 5 Wings of Dawn Heroes boost Troop HP by 10%.“
Type: Exclusive Talent
A Wings of Dawn team without Alma will be inadequate against S2's formidable Blood Rose (Bella) or Guard of Order (Harleyna) teams. Alma's primary task is to prepare the ground for Nyx (S1) and Liliana (S3 - an investment for the future), the main damage sources of the Wings of Dawn faction. Wings of Dawn teams are "Glass Cannon" (High Damage, Low Durability) builds. Alma's Crowd Control (CC) abilities slow, stun, or silence enemy troops. During this period, Nyx and other DPS characters deal maximum damage to the enemy.
One of the biggest innovations S2 brings is not only "newly designed" heroes, but also S1 heroes whose accessibility has changed
In Season 2 Selena is included in the general recruitment pool and available by using recruitment tickets.
Strategic Value: Selena is in the same faction (Blood Rose) as Bella. Selena, who supports Bella's tanking damage with healing or shielding abilities, forms the foundation of the "Blood Rose" defensive wall. It's essential for any player who owns Bella to also add Selena to their roster.
Sakura (Guard of Order) was introduced in Season 1 but whose potential wasn't fully understood.
Harleyna's (Guard of Order) arrival in Season 2 and the damage bonuses she provides to "Rider" units have indirectly increased Sakura's value.
Sakura and Harleyna are poised to become one of the most deadly offensive duos in Season 2
FACTION SYNERGY
In S2, success depends more on choosing the right Faction than on individual hero power. It depends on forming the right combinations. This shows that the bonuses provided by using the same Faction heroes together become even more critical in Season.

Season Points and Glory Wars
Season 2 uses a Season Point system based on Personal Glory Points and Alliance Season Points. Personal Glory Points are earned mainly by defeating NPCs and creeps on the map. These points are capped at 72,200. Alliance Season Points are a combination of Personal Glory Points and points earned from Glory Wars. Season 2 shifts the PvP experience from random skirmishes to structured, high-risk operations.
GLORY WARS
Glory Wars are Alliance versus Alliance battles between different states. These battles are strategic and reward preparation and coordination. When you win a Glory War, your Alliance steals 20% of the opponent's Season Points. Victory War is a cross-server invasion event. The objective is to earn points by destroying seasonal buildings on the enemy server.
Points are earned by destroying enemy buildings (Laboratories, Power Plants, etc.). However, the defensive strategy is more complex than the offensive one. "Scorched Earth" Tactic: The most effective defence is to leave nothing for the enemy to destroy. 10-15 minutes before the battle begins, alliance members demolish/recycle their own season buildings with their own hands Exception: Alliance Centre cannot be destroyed.
Therefore, the entire defence strategy revolves around a "Turtle" formation centred on Alliance Centre 1. Turtle Formation: The strongest players teleport around the Alliance Hub. The Hub is reinforced with maximum capacity (Guardians/ Defenders). If the Hub remains standing, the enemy loses large blocks of points.
Season Ranking Rewards are extremely valuable. High-ranking Alliances receive Season 2 Recruitment Tickets, allowing you to recruit Seasonal heroes for free. Other rewards include Universal Exclusive Equipment Fragments, Diamonds, Speed-Ups, and large amounts of resources. For free-to-play players, these rewards are game-changing. Glory Wars themselves also grant Training Speed-Ups, Resources, and Exclusive Equipment Fragments, making them worth participating in even if you are not aiming for first place. Now let's talk about one of the biggest new features of Season!
The Arctic Ice Pit is a cross-state PvP event where Alliances compete for control of ice pits. There are three ice pit levels, Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3.
The event runs every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 11am Apocalypse Time. Alliances fight for control of an ice pit.
Once captured, players can fish inside the pit to earn rewards. Fishing requires hooks, and different ice pits offer different types of fish. The Alliance that owns the ice pit receives special rewards including Exclusive Equipment Fragments, Cores, Golden Wrenches, Golden Hooks, Master Fishing Passes, and Fishing Buckets. Fishing Buckets instantly grant a fish without waiting. Fish collected from ice pits are added to the Fish Index.
Completing entries in the Fish Index grants rewards such as Speed Ups, Golden Wrenches, Universal Orange Hero Fragments, Badges, Cores, and a Seasonal Decoration. If you complete the entire Fish Index, you unlock the Zazz Snowman Seasonal Decoration.
Fish can be exchanged between players, which makes cooperation very important, especially for rare fish.
During ice pit events, players near the ice pit are vulnerable and can be attacked even if they're from other states.
This creates one of the best resource farming opportunities in the season. Even if you do not care about controlling an ice pit, you can farm players from other states instead of attacking your own state, filling your daily resource limit safely. Ice pit owners also receive Red Packets containing 10,000 Diamonds, which can be shared in Alliance Chat so everyone benefits. There is an Ice Pits Capture Ranking, but it doesn't grant additional rewards. You can fish in any ice pit, regardless of ownership, but owning one benefits your entire Alliance, so securing at least one ice pit is always recommended.
Later in the season, of course, Proliferation unlocks.
This event lasts until the end of the season and doubles the amount of Flowfrost Cores gained from defeating Snow Leopards and Frost Banes.
This saves a massive amount of fuel and is one of the best passive bonuses of the season.
Frozen Rescue runs every week from Monday to Wednesday.
During specific hours, Cold Snap Alerts appear, allowing players to rescue animals .
You can rescue up to 10 animals per day. There are four types of animals:
Foxes grant Orange Skill Books
Huffs grant Badges
Mammoths grant Universal Exclusive Equipment Fragment
Boars grant Diamonds.
For most players, Huffs are the best choice. Each Huff rescues 300 Badges, that means 3,000 Badges per day and 9,000 Badges per week from this event alone Frozen Rescue is one of the most important events for Badge Farming in the entire season.
Snowman Mania focusses on upgrading the Seasonal Decoration. The Snowman has 20 levels and each level grants Decoration Fragments for the Zazz Snowman. To upgrade the Snowman, you need Snowballs.
Snowballs are earned by completing tasks, clearing snow for allies, or stealing snowballs from other players You can also use Snowflakes to upgrade the Snowman. Snowflakes drop from Snow Leopards and Frost Banes.
Active players should be able to fully upgrade the Decoration over the season. In some states, there may be a Mid-Season Reset that allows players to collect rewards again, but this is not guaranteed and may vary by state.
NPCs on the map also change visually during the season. Zombies become Snow Leopards, Boomers become Frost Banes, and even the Fury Lord receives a winter appearance. A new NPC called the Hunter Yeti is introduced. Hunter Yeti provides seasonal rewards such as Snowballs, Blueprints, and other valuable items.
You can defeat Hunter Yeti up to two times per day. On Sundays, a special event allows you to defeat Hunter Yeti up to five times, making Sunday one of the best days to farm seasonal resources.
Defeating Hunter Yeti can also spawn an additional NPC that grants extra rewards.
Later in the season, the Arctic Duel Store unlocks .
This store allows you to exchange seasonal resources for Orange Skill Books, Universal Exclusive Equipment Fragments, Badges, Resource Boxes, Snowballs, and Speed Ups.
This store alone makes Season 2 extremely rewarding. Season 2 also includes the Season Journey or Seasonal Battle Pass.
Season Journey provides Speed Ups, Diamonds, Universal Orange Hero Fragments, Wrenches, Orange Skill Books, Badges, and many other rewards.
The paid version includes strong seasonal boosts such as increased Ice Bloom output, additional Virus Resistance, improved Glory Chest rewards, Mastery Reset Passes, and higher level caps for IC Arsenal and IC Fort.
There is a free track with decent rewards, but the best bonuses are in the paid version.
Wartime Investment is another optional upgrade that can be purchased multiple times throughout the season. It grants extra resources, Ice Bloom output, Virus Resistance, Smart Greenhouse Level 5, and increased March Speed against Snow Leopards.
Season 2 also allows Hero Level and Skill Swaps, making it easier to adjust your lineup without wasting progress.
As you defeat higher level enemies, you earn Glory Points that unlock Glory Rewards Chests.
These chests contain Hero Experience, Badges, Universal Hero Fragments, Exclusive Equipment Fragments, Diamonds, and more.
There is also a Glory Chest that can be collected every 8 hours, granting Zents and up to 300 badges per chest, or 900 badges per day.
Now for the most important conclusion. Season 2, the Everfrost Era, is one of the best seasons in the game, especially for free to play players. It offers massive badge income, strong Hero Synergy, and many opportunities to gain power without spending. If there is one thing you should prioritise, it is collecting as many Badges and Orange Hero Fragments as possible. Later seasons are significantly less friendly, so Season 2 is the time to prepare. With the new Heroes, Seasonal Buildings, Research Progression, and Event Rewards, your power should increase significantly throughout the season.
