Welcome all to our masterclass in raising that arena power! First off, what is arena power? 

Arena power represents the combined strength of your hero team, equipment, and modified vehicle specifically for PvP (Player vs. Player) combat. 

When you look at another alliance and check out their members, you see their OVERALL power. This consists of their Structure, troop, hero and mod vehicle power. For example a member may have an overall power currently of 100.8m, but their ARENA power is 44.2m.

So why is this important? 

Overall power isn't what you're taking to the fight or fighting against, it's arena power. If you have someone with 100m overall power but only 2.4m arena power, they aren't going to be very powerful in a fight or bring any defence when reinforcing. You can have a HQ level 30 with an impressive looking power rating, but if their arena power is only 20m, that level 30 means nothing. 

Okay then, I'm listening, how do I raise this arena power? 

Each week you can claim a orange gear piece from the merit shop. 

Upgrade your gear evenly. All pieces to level 20. Then all pieced to level 30 etc. 

CORES ARE IMPORTANT. 

Power cores are used to promote your orange gear. This is what's going to make a big difference. When promoting your orange gear, make sure to upgrade Gun - Helm - Armor - Boots in that order. Fully upgrade ONE WHOLE SEGMENT at a time. Once all of your S gear across your F1 heroes have 1 full segment, start again upgrading them all to 2 FULL SEGEMENTS and so on. 

FOCUS ON YOUR 5 MAIN HEROES ONLY. 

Don't worry about pushing for 5 segments.  For 5 segments it's 68M Zent + 25,400 Power Cores for 5 hexagons. Ouch!  Once your F1 team has reached 4 full segments on each gear, then you can start on F2.

Is there anything else I can do to help? 

TROOP POWER 

Simple rule: Higher quantity = higher power. 

Use training speed-ups on Friday (Alliance Duel Training day) to replace lost troops. 

Upgrade Military Centre to increase unit capacity:

RESEARCH 

Elite Troops research - Anything that increases your Hero power or troop power & defence. 

MODDED VEHICLE POWER 

Get your vehicle to level 100 to unlock components.

Components give massive stat boosts

Level 7 components are achievable without spending

Component stat scaling:

Level 12: 114% troop defence in siege

Level 13: 140%

Level 14: 166%

Level 15: 200%
