Louisiana Culture and History 2026 Summer Intensive 

• June 22-24, 2026

• In New Orleans

• Focus will be on French and S[panish Colonial Louisiana Era history in alignment with LDOE's latest sixth-grade social studies standards and America's semiquincentennial

• $250 stipend to all participants on completion of 3 day workshop and paid parking

• Will provide hotel accommodations  and mileage reimbursement for participants traveling more than 60 miles from New Orleans

  • There is a $200 registration fee to attend the Teacher Symposium that is non-refundable after June 15, 2026.There is an additional optional $345 fee for room and board on campus at Gettysburg College in single, air-conditioned rooms. All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner, a total of eleven meals) are included in this fee. Participants are responsible for their own travel and transportation costs.
