REFLECTION

I learnt that the active forms of learning which are learning by doing and practice of which demonstration is the first, followed by discussions, practice come, after which teaching others comes, and moving to the apex of the pyramid is the passive learning which audio-visual comes followed by reading then lecture.

I could see that from the tip or apex of the pyramid to the bottom of the pyramid the more practical or involving the teaching became the higher the percentage of the of knowledge acquired.

TAKEAWAYS FOR WEEK 3

I would make sure that as a teacher, instead of just lecturing to my student i would rather make the class more interacting but using demonstration, group discussions, practical and also encourage them not to keep what they had learnt in class to themselves but rather try to teacher their classmates and friends.
