I am a Principal Economist at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR), a Research Associate at the Economic Statistics Centre of Excellence (ESCoE), a Research Associate at The Productivity Institute (TPI) and a UKRI Policy Fellow Alumni. My research interest lies primarily in applied microeconomics, with a focus on labour economics, productivity and public policy. My current research explores how digital technologies and skills interact to shape productivity performance, labour market dynamics, and regional economic outcomes. I work extensively with large datasets, applying advanced econometric techniques to address policy-relevant questions.
Over the years, I have worked on several research projects funded by esteemed organisations such as ESRC, UKRI, ONS, Cabinet Office, NIC, BEIS, DSIT, DIT, Defra, DfE, and the Scottish Government. I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Southampton.
