Recommended Packing List
What to Bring:
IDs
-Driver's License
-Insurance card(s) in case of emergency
- Vaccination Card (good idea to have your physical vaccine card, or a copy or saved in your phone)
-Credit Card if you choose or cash for spending money
-I Pass (THAT HAS THE RENTAL LICENSE PLATE ADDED TO THE ACCOUNT FOR THE DAYS WE ARE GONE-ADD BEFORE WE LEAVE! (probably Pat and Jeanie )
Health and Safety items:
-A Covid-19 compliant mask if you have one. We will have extras for the group.
-COVID test kits are a good idea in case of illness.
-Hand sanitizer
-Water bottle
-Flashlight or headlamp
-Personal prescriptions
-Basic meds (suggestions: Ibuprofen, Aspirin, Tylenol, Pepto-Bismol, Imodium AD, Benadryl)
-Antibiotic type ointment and band-aids
-Vitamins if you take them
-Sunscreen (Your choice. For an environmentally conscious choice you may consider Badger which REI carries or any product that says it is reef safe and does not have oxybenzone or nano sized particles.)
-Possibly insect repellent for mosquitos and ticks. (Again, your choice. For an environmentally conscious choice you may consider something with Picaridin which has been reported to work as well as DEET without some of the harmful effects. But you may prefer a DEET product, especially if sensitive to Picaridin. Dick’s Sporting Goods carries Sawyer and Natrapel brands. You can also use a Permethrin product to spray your clothes. -Anti-itch cream
-Prescription glasses/sunglasses or non prescription sunglasses (extra pair?)
-If contact lens wearer: contacts, contact lens solution and case
Sleeping Equipment:
-Pillow (compact if possible). Sheets provided. Blanket/other cover if you choose.
Clothing:
-Underwear, socks
-Long-sleeve and short-sleeve shirts
-Shorts and pants
-Shoes: Sneakers or other close toed shoe, sandals
-Sunhat
-Warm hoodie, sweater or jacket
-Rain gear (jacket with hood if you have one)
-Swimsuit (in case we have access to a pool)
-Slippers or slipper socks if you wish
-Sleepwear.
Note that our living/sleeping space can be cold so bring some warmies!
Personal Items
-Toiletries Bag
-Small towel
-Shampoo, body wash or soap
-Hair Brush
-Deodorant
-Toothbrush and toothpaste and dental floss
-Scissors, nail clippers, (or whatever you normally bring), tweezers (good for splinters and ticks)
Optional:
- Digital camera with extra batteries/charger,
- Cell phone and charger
- Your favorite prayers or songs for reflection time
-Musical instrument(s)
-Journal, bible, and/or a book to read
-A bag for dirty laundry
-Ear plugs and eye masks (for light sleepers)

-Group Games
What NOT to bring:
- Bottled single use plastic water bottle or soda pop. They have requested no plastic bottles. There is a water cooler in our space to refill our non plastic bottles.
- A list of grievances (haha! We know we are all positive people!)
For Day 1
-Wear team t-shirt (or over another shirt)
-Wear or pack pendant
-Bring snacks/lunch for day 1 and filled water bottle
