Laramie Lodge #3 AF & AM, established in 1870 under dispensation (UD) from the Grand Lodge of Colorado and later chartered as part of the Grand Lodge of Wyoming, stands as one of the oldest Masonic lodges in the state. Rooted in a rich tradition of brotherhood and service, the Lodge has played a central role in Wyoming Masonry since the formation of the Grand Lodge in 1874, when it was designated as Lodge #3. Over time, it has continued to adapt, including the consolidation with Gem City Lodge #52 in 2005.
Today, Laramie Lodge #3 remains committed to the principles of Freemasonry, welcoming visiting brethren from regular lodges in good standing and providing a place for fellowship, development, and charitable work. Within the Lodge, members progress through the three degrees of Symbolic Freemasonry: Entered Apprentice, Fellow Craft, and Master Mason, each reflecting a progressive stage of moral instruction and personal development.

Are YOU interested in becoming a Mason?
If you feel called to walk the path of Freemasonry and uphold its timeless values, we invite you to explore the possibility of membership with us. Freemasonry cannot be imposed upon an individual; rather, it is a journey that begins with a heartfelt desire to seek enlightenment and fraternity. It is incumbent upon each aspirant to approach our door with humility, ready to embark on a path of self-discovery and service to others. Membership must be requested by a man of his own free will and accord, from whom he believes to be a Mason. This is necessary because masonry does not solicit members, all inquiry is strictly voluntary on the part of the applicant. Membership in a Masonic Lodge in Wyoming is limited to adult males without regard to race, status, religion, or political identity, who are of good character and reputation. Belief in a Supreme Being is a prerequisite for membership, as Freemasonry emphasizes a firm belief in the Fatherhood of God, the Brotherhood of Man, and the Immortality of the Soul.
If you are interested in becoming a Laramie Mason, reach out to us at Laramielodge@outlook.com . Visitors and the Masonically Curious are welcome to stop by our lodge at 6:30 pm on the evening of a lodge meeting.
