Digital Etiquette is the responsibility you have over your actions on the internet. It is important to be aware of everyone while online.
Below is a basic set of rules you should follow while online.
Do not speak to a stranger. If a stranger contacts you, let a trusted adult know.
Respect the privacy of others
Always use appropriate language
Only do what you are asked to do online
Follow the class AUP while online
The teacher told the students to do their math assignment online. She trusts them to work on their assignment and raise their hands if they have questions.
The teacher walks around and notices a few of the students are laughing at an image that was sent to them about another student. This is bad digital etiquette. The students should not be making fun of people online, and should be doing the assignment they were given.
