Since 2024 I have hosted an annual Women in Finance event at Imperial Business School, bringing together senior leaders from across the finance industry to explore how women are reshaping capital markets, redefining leadership and driving the future of finance. These events reflect my longstanding commitment to making finance a more visible and welcoming field for the next generation of women.

2026 — Women in Finance: Investing For A Sustainable Future
Royal Geographical Society, London, 26 February 2026
The 2026 event, held at the Royal Geographical Society, brought together senior women leading the transformation of finance towards a more sustainable and inclusive future. The panel discussion explored how female voices are shaping sustainable finance, impact investing and related fintech. Panellists included Fiona Frick (Finance Advisory Board Member and Founding Partner, Circe Invest), Kamini Banga (Chair, Banga Family Office), Lise Renelleau (Head of Research and Innovation, HSBC Asset Management), Victoria Qingtong Xie (Director of EM Structured Credit Trading, Citi), Zoe Jankel (Vice President Senior Credit Officer, Moody's Ratings) and Ekaterina Chernykh (Private Equity Senior Associate, Neuberger Berman).

2025 — Women in Finance: Driving Future Skills and Industry Transformation
Women in Finance 2025, Imperial Business School
The 2025 event featured a keynote address by Rochelle Lucas, Chief Operating Officer of the London Stock Exchange Group, followed by a panel discussion moderated by Lara Cathcart. Panellists included Claudia Custodio (Professor of Finance, Imperial Business School), Julie Ng (VP Senior Analyst, Moody's), Namrata Iyer (Global Business Management Director, Global Transactions, HSBC), Georgia Motsiou (Credit Risk Analyst, Fasanara Capital) and Lisa Lueg (Alternative Finance and Asset Management, BlackRock). The discussion explored how the finance industry is evolving and what skills and opportunities lie ahead for the next generation of women entering the field.

2024 — Women in Finance
Imperial Business School, 26 February 2024
The first Women in Finance event featured a keynote address by Professor Lara Cathcart, followed by a panel discussion with accomplished women who have reached senior positions across the finance industry. The keynote presented research on the stark underrepresentation of women in finance, only 13% of Full Professors in Finance were women at the time of the event, and made the case for why change is both urgent and possible.
