The issues on the COVID-19 pandemic is circulating nation wide, and spreading vigourously. Spreading through the nation and effecting citizens all around us. Hospital workers are on the front line every day to try and save as many citizens as they can, but with the limited resources they have. Hospital workers as soon as they sign up for the position that they desired, didn’t really understand how they would be effected. They didn’t see the cons of being on the front line and how it could effect them personally. Learning about it first hand and seeing it first hand is way different than hearing it at home or on television. No amount of money can jeopardise your personal well being.
Personally, I was effected by COVID-19, but luckly they were mild symptoms. I’m very fortunate that it was a really bad flu, and that I am slowly recovering from it day by day. When I got it I was very frightened for my family, because they arent the healthiest. I took the correct precaustion and stayed isolated for 14 days. Self isolation is the best way to prevent the virus. There were good and bad days, I had to go through it alone with no one around me feeling what I am going through. Reading about the virus is way different about witnessing or getting it personally, because if you read about it , you can get scared. Once you get the virus you are petrafied.
Having COVID-19, opened my eyes on how to percieve the world. How the world relys on medicine/hospitals, etc…. Opened my eyes more about my religion and how I should start taking it more seriously, I started to pray and understand more about my God. It actually brought my attention to what I have. I am grateful that I have a roof over my head, food on the table, a family to come home to, and most of all faith in my God. I have faith that God has a plan for everyone and even though this is a very tough time in society, I believe that we should all have faith in God and pray that he leads us in the right direction. The COVID-19 pandemic is slowy taking over the population, but hopefully soon there will be a cure to help the nation. There are rumors that Canada has found the cure, and they have been talking to the generals of the hospitals all around on what to do. This pandemic certainly made me realise what am grateful for in my life.
In conclusion, to prevent the virus citizens must stay inside to help their health, and to help prevent them for getting the virus. When transmitted, and you get a couple of symptoms, you must call the doctors to see if you can get tested. If the doctors believe that your symptoms are bad then they will test you, if not you must stay isolated till your symptoms go away or esclate.
