Who We Are
We are WPI students working on our Interactive Qualifying Project (IQP) in San Juan, Puerto Rico. We aim to help La Perla by building a rainwater harvesting system, gardening, and engaging with community members.

Team Culture
Despite coming from different backgrounds, our team has joined in working towards a common goal. We all have knowledge in different areas when combined creates a well-rounded group.
Bella DeCilio Class of 2025: Biology
Bella is from Rehoboth, Massachusetts. Some of her favorite things include playing card games, consuming chickpeas in different forms, running, and she is an active member in the pep band and choir.
Amelia McDonough Class of 2025: Civil Engineering
Amelia is from Weymouth, Massachusetts. She enjoys interacting with animals, trying new teas, and draws. Her favorite part of the beach day is swimming.
John Peabody Class of 2025: Biomedical Engineering
John is from Woodstock, Connecticut. Some of his favorite things include running, listening to music and swimming.
Lauren Simonian Class of 2025: BS Biomedical Engineering MS Management
Lauren is from Farmington, Connecticut. She plays field hockey at WPI and enjoys being outside and active in nature. Her favorite genre of music is country.
