6th Language Policy Forum, 2027

We are now taking applications to host the Language Policy Forum 2027, which will take place in mid-late April. We invite submissions from potential hosts, anywhere in Europe.

To submit your application, please proceed to the application form here, and note the deadline of Wednesday 13 May 2026.

Please carefully note that some details will require discussion and agreement with your colleagues and management, so be sure to leave time for that as you prepare.

Submissions will be assessed confidentially by the SIG committee and decided on by June 2026 or sooner.

Applicants are encouraged to discuss their proposal with the co-convenors in advance of submission, in order to improve their proposal and its suitability. Applicants attending LPF 2026 in Madrid are welcome to arrange a discussion in person; otherwise, emails or online meetings can be arranged.
