Thrower in Track and Field, Madison Southern high school February 2018 – 2022 April
· Learned to handle situations under much pressure and solidly commit to something.
· Figured out how to work as a team and look out for others and improved social skills in the process.
· Earned a school record in the discus throw at Madison Southern High School; the goal was made freshman year to have it by senior year. By the end of my senior year, the set goal was achieved.
· Learned how to be independent and put in work when no one else was watching.

· Learned how to work through difficult situations; for example, learning plays was challenging, but learning a way to figure them out and transferring them to the field is an example people can use in the real world.
· Acquired the skill to work with others as a whole unit instead of working independently.

· Gained an understanding of how to get out of difficult situations when there seemed to be no way out.
· Picked up on skills by practicing the moves to transfer to the mat in a match. This transfers to the real world by practicing something you’re not familiar with.
