Although I don't consider myself a director, I do try to step out of my comfort zone! Primarily directing music, I have done acts such as: DJ Diesel, Peach Pit, IDLES, Faye Webster, and Del Water Gap (not featured in my reel).
Over two consecutive summers, I participated in Middle Tennessee State University's Bonnaroo class, where I have directed about half a dozen shows.
This experience challenged me to step outside my primary skillset and develop new abilitles and confidence in live direction.
This showed me that taking on roles that challenge my existing abilities make me a more well-rounded production professional. Being uncomfortable is what makes you grow.
