Jim Landry, PhD, Biography

Jim Landry, was born and raised in Beaumont, Texas on May 22, 1953 to Mr. Henry James and Marion Clair Landry. To this union were born three brothers and two sisters. During his youth and adolescent years Jim participated in various community activities such as: Little league baseball through Pony league, community bowling league, YMCA and martial arts. Jim was a 1971 Hebert High school graduate. while in school his extra curricular activities were: lettered high school baseball (3 yrs)., he worked with the distributive education work program, he was in the band for band 7 years, and journalism. Jim was employed part time while in school, this included doing various jobs such as: lawn care services, newspaper delivery, restaurant delivery services, and clothing retail sales. After High School Jim joined the United States Navy. His term was from February of 1772 to 1976 in Medical Corps, Transportation services.
