Alberta Landry D.B.C., Biography

Pastor Alberta Landry was born December of 1951 in Beaumont, Texas to her parents Johnny and Rosa Lee Anderson. She married her husband, Dr. Jim Landry, in October of 1987. They have five children together and twelve grandchildren, one great-grandchild and two more great grandchildren due in October of 2017.

Pastor Alberta worked at the American National Bank in Beaumont, Texas for 4 years as a Proof Machine Operator and as a Computer Data Entry Clerk. She worked at First Security National Bank in Beaumont, Texas for 3 years in Bookkeeping and as a Proof Machine Operator before going to work at the Mobil Oil Corporation in 1977. She worked as a laborer, a sand blaster and painter and an operator in the Power Plants. The last position she held was as a Laboratory Technician/Tester for over 15 years. She retired from Mobil Oil Beaumont Refinery (presently Exxon-Mobil Beaumont Refinery) in 1997.

From Elementary to High School she attended schools in the Beaumont Independent School District, Beaumont, TX. She was chosen as one of the first students to be trained on computers at the IBM Corporation for a 4 week program. She acquired further education at Chenier’s Business College, Beaumont, TX for Secretarial Automation; Lamar School of Technology, Beaumont, TX for several Certificates in (1) Effective Speaking, (2) Banking and (3) Computers; she acquired several certificates at the Lamar University (Small Business Development Center): (1) Internet At Work For You; (2) Introduction to the Internet and (3) Building and Maintaining a Web Site.

She has been in church all her life. She was baptized at the age of seven under the leadership of Pastor Moses at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Beaumont, Texas. In 1983 through 1987 she attended Bethlehem Holy Temple Church in Silsbee, TX and submitted as an elder to the leadership of Pastors Albert B. and Gladys Collins. In 1988 she was licensed and ordained under the leadership of Pastor Petty of San Antonio, TX. In 1991 she was licensed by Pastor Harlan Deem Christ Centers Beaumont, Texas under the Apostleship of Norman Parish, Continental Ministry Crusade, Inc., Guatemala, and Central America.

Pastor Alberta is a Holy Ghost filled minister of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. She has acquired her Master and Doctor of Biblical Counseling Degree and Doctor of Theology from Oval Bible College of Lawrenceville, Georgia. Her Associates and Bachelor’s Degrees in Theology was acquired from the Christian Church of Port Arthur Theology School (Dr's. Paul and Brenda Queen-Chancellors) which is in affiliation with The Lord's International Outreach School of Theology (Dr's. Russell and Leona Benoit-Chancellors).
