Landie Clervain is an artist born and raised in Fort Collins, Colorado. In 2025, Landie achieved an Associates Degree in Studio Art from Front Range Community College. Currently, Landie is attending Colorado State University, working towards a BA in Integrated Visual Studies with a concentration in Painting, as well as a BA in Philosphy.
Landie primarily works in traditional mediums making 2D work, such as drawing and painting, but has an exploratory process that leads to experimenting with many other approaches to creating as well, such as digital and 3D artwork.
Landie is the eldest of three daughters, born to a Haitian father and American mother. Growing up, they spent a lot of time with the maternal half of their family, mostly women, and many of whom happening to have a natural competency in drawing (although, many of them would undersell this if you asked them.) Landie's grandmother, mother, aunts and cousins have always had creative hobbies. One uncle in particular spent a lot of time drawing traditionally and digitally in his youth, his work playing a big role in Landie's early interest in art.Â
