Participant numbers are limited by the capacity of venue and resources etc, as well as our vision of discussion-based knowledge sharing which works better in smaller groups. So, in order for the committee to make an appropriate selection of candidates for a productive and well-rounded workshop experience, we are adopting a three-part application process.

Part 1 – Personal details and preferences

Part 2 – Application form to be no more than 2x A4 pages in total:

A)      Short justification of motivation to attend

B)      Breakout theme suggestion

C)       Short scientific abstract for presentation

Part 3 - 1x A4 page CV

The responses should be sent via email to land2sea@uibk.ac.at by end of 23rd June 2025. Successful applicants will be informed and expected to pay registration fee at the end of June. 

Please note that by submitting an application, we expect you to be available to attend the workshop dates, and financially capable of paying for flights and the estimated registration fee if selected regardless of potential travel grant applications. Please indicate any outstanding issues with this commitment in the ‘other information’ heading of the personal details section.
