Thank you for taking the time to visit the public consultation website for land south west of A696/Ponteland Road. 

Persimmon Homes have engaged with Newcastle City Council through a pre-application process and have received feedback on the principle of access to the site, along with technical matters including landscaping, drainage and ecology. This feedback has informed the proposals presented at this stage.

Persimmon Homes have also met with Local Ward Councillors to present the proposals and understand the views of the local community. This consultation gives you the opportunity to review the proposals and the information which has informed and give your view.

All comments will be reviewed by Persimmon Homes and, if appropriate, we shall consider altering the proposals following the feedback. All comments will be analysed and incorporated into a Statement of Community Involvement, which will be submitted to Newcastle City Council as part of the formal planning submission and will be made publicly available. It is important to note that following the submission of the planning application, residents will have an additional opportunity to comment upon the proposal during a future formal consultation period.
