EVENTS 2026

The object of the RMA

The aim of the association is to:

• Organize social events for our members.

• Provide a service of advice and help for retired members of the NASUWT. 

• Liaise with the FRMA in its work with the NASUWT and various pensioner organizations.

Subscriptions

The sum for the year 2026 will be £25.00. This is payable to the NASUWT by Direct Debit, Debit/Credit card, or by cheque. Of this subscription: £11.00 to NASUWT; £4.50 to FRMA and £9.50 to Lancs. RMA. 

Honorary life members are not required to pay subscription

Subscriptions are payable in January.

Contact details are kept to a minimum and are held securely. 

Below is a brief synopsis of all events. This list is correct at time of going to press. Further details are available on request from the event organiser shown. Full details will be posted to members.

To avoid costs, particularly charges made by the Bank, for paying in cheques and to avoid cheques bouncing, (yes we do have them sometimes), we are introducing a BACS payment system where payment is made at the time of the booking, together with a reference applicable to the particular event (This will be our preferred method). If cheques have to be made out, then they will be paid in to our bank, as soon as possible after receipt, or immediately after the closing date for the event.

It is also proposed to trial and start an LRMA WhatsApp group, to provide up to date information on Events and Meetings, quickly.
