AN INVALUABLE BROTHERHOOD EXPERIENCE
The brotherhood bond within the Phi Theta Zeta chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha is unbreakable. Being a brother of Lambda Chi Alpha offers many enriching opportunities to participate in leadership roles and to contribute to the development of our Chapter as well as other members. We strive to mold all brothers into gentleman of Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Service, Honesty, Integrity and Personal Courage. Lambda Chi Alpha provides our Chapter with a constitution and statutory code that gives us a solid framework for management of the Chapter. Being an initiated member is not a requirement for most offices, as any of our Associate Members can also be elected to office -- providing they meet academic eligibility standards.
TRANSFORMING STUDENTS INTO GENTLEMEN.
EQUAL MEMBERSHIP
Every brother is equal to each other, no matter when you joined the fraternity, or what position you may hold. Inclusiveness is key when wanting a close relationship with everyone. This is why in 1972 the national Lambda Chi Alpha abolished the term "Pledge" and instead, new members within the fraternity are now called "Associate Members". The Lambda Chi Alpha nationals also condemned hazing in 1928, and the Phi Theta Zeta chapter at UNC-Greensboro reinforces this action and decision.
A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT.
BROTHERHOOD EVENTS
The fraternity's High Beta is our brotherhood chair, for which he manages and organizes weekly events for all active brothers within the chapter. These events are held to offer brothers the opportunity to grow closer and to create lifelong friendships. We use this time to improve the bond between brothers and to better ourselves and our community. Some events that are held are: Intramural Sports Teams, Community Service, Study Nights, Cookouts, Camping Trips, Video Game Nights, Working Out, and Poker Nights.
