There would only be one template panel, about 1300 mm wide. The waveform could be up to 35 mm depth within the concrete. This pattern would then be repeated and draped over the LaMB.
The pattern that ended up on the façade was one of the more regular-looking ones. This worked better for the production process. Yet, it still clearly preserved the rich biological variability of alpha waves in real recordings of human brain activity.
And so, the process began of turning a moment of Sage’s musings into Concrete Thoughts. The manifestation of the brain-activity pattern was tested in architectural projects, turned over to manufacturing to produce the panels, brought over, and dropped into place. The final product is beautiful. I’m sure you agree.
