The Museum Redbird td2 simulator provide our visitors with the capability to experience piloting CEssna aircraft under simple to complex flight conditions. The objective is to use a simulator to create both a very realistic aircraft flight and the flight environment (e.g., day/night, wind, clouds, rain, snow, etc.)We recommend that our simulator pilots be at least 10 years old. No pilot experience is required for taking a flight yet the system can provide a training environment for licensed pilots.

The Redbird TD2 Simulator has the following capabilities:
- A complete Cessna 172 or 182 flight deck including a wrap around visual display.
- Optional Fixed or Retractable Gear.
- Optional Fixed Pitch or Constant Speed Propeller.
- Optional High Performance Engine.
- Simulation of both visual and instrument flights.
- Hundreds of airport replications.
- GPS navigation.
- Autopilot operation.
- Control features that enhance training by evaluation pilot performance.
- Is certified by the FAA
