The tour takes anywhere from 3-4 hours depending on your pace.
Tui and the locally trained guides will lead you up and around waterfalls and lava formations that have formed this magnificent natural setting. The younger and more acrobatic of the guides will perform jaw-dropping climbs and jumps that will tempt only the daring traveller to follow.
For those who prefer a more leisurely trek, Tui is happy to share his wealth of knowledge about Samoa’s natural environment and will be able to answer any questions you may have about life in Samoa. Ask him to tell you the legend of the river.
Shorter hikes and other options are available.
Whatever way you take the tour, you'll be telling your friends that Samoa has way more to offer than beautiful beaches, and they should not miss out on the Liua le Vai o Sina River Waterfall Hike.
A shorter family-friendly waterfall hike can also be arranged, suitable for children aged six and above.
Bookings are essential.
We take waterfall hikes on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday.
Hikes take place on private land and there is no public access.
Please note that the tour guide reserves the right to cancel a tour at any time due to unfavourable weather conditions or river levels.

Cultural Respect Notice
As our experience takes place within a traditional Samoan village, we kindly ask all visitors to dress respectfully in line with local customs.
Shorts are recommended for all visitors (rather than swimwear or revealing attire).
Women are kindly asked to wear a top that covers more than a bikini — a singlet or similar is ideal.
This small gesture of respect helps honour the values of the local community and ensures a warm welcome from the village.
Fa'afetai lava for your understanding and cultural mindfulness.
