We strive to ensure that all related controls that are necessary to improve environment and ensure health and safety of all employees, contractors, sub-contractors and other participants, shall be made available. We believe that clean work environment and people’s safety is paramount.
To achieve our goal, we shall
· Comply with all relevant environmental and occupational health & safety legislation and regulation and others initiatives to which we subscribe
· Ensure safe practices in our projects & services to avoid work related injury and ill health by identifying current & potential hazards and deploying controls at source
· Promote consultation & participation of work team for identifying opportunities for improvement in health & safety performance
· Develop, sustain and continually improve work practice and reduce risk to environment and safety
· Ensure prevention of pollution including minimize negative impact we may have on environment through effective use of resources and reduction in emission and wastages
· Promote use of renewable sources of energy and minimize consumption of natural resources
· Promote and enhance awareness of management systems among all employees through training & development
LEI will continually improve its performance and conduct its activities in an environmentally responsible manner clearly reflecting a commitment to fostering sustainable development
