Project Description:
For this project, I had research a location individually and create a presentation with a partner (another classmate). In the presentation, we had to compare our locations and it's research. My partner's name was Kamiah Galloway. The location I researched on was Pakistan while Kamiah researched on Guatemala. After that, we made a PowerPoint presentation which consisted 6 slides. This project was very fun and informative!
An Interesting fact I learned about Pakistan was that there are many languages spoken in Pakistan. The main or common language is Urdu however, different languages are spoken in small village or cities. Another thing I learned is that motorbikes and rickshaws (image on the left) are the common transportation vehicles.
Lessons Learned:
This project taught me many things about Pakistan and Guatemala. I was aware about the information of Pakistan however, I did not have knowledge about Guatemala. By this project, I learned about Guatemala's culture, environment, religion, diversity, and even traditions. Furthermore, this project gave me an opportunity to use and demonstrate the skills I learned in the modules on PowerPoint and it's features. In addition, I collaborated with a classmate to compare our research and make a PowerPoint. We discussed our research and came up with similarities and differences between our locations. I communicated with her using Teams because it was easier and accessible for both of us. To recapitulate, this project was very informative!
