the whole time i though she was planning to leave him and then it turns out all she’s doing is going to vote lmao. but they can’t need it like that because surely the cycles just going to continue when she goes home? also why did she need a new shirt and lipstick to go vote. anyway this was like devastating and also like really fucking weird, cause one second he’s like beating her and then the next they’re dancing??? anyway the mother and daughter’s relationship was just ugh i wanted to cry. and the daughters stupid idiot boyfriend ugh i hate men. i’m glad it kind of had a happy ending even though it lowkey keeps me up at night over what’s going to happen to her when she goes home. although maybe she’s planning to leave altogether because she did leave her daughter the money? who knows? anyway overall very uh though provoking beet serious but also very silly. i love a good black and white by choice film as well, personally i don’t see myself ever rewatching this cause it just made me so sad and i want the dad to die a brutal death idk okay yeah i think that’s it ouch/10 oh wait also the like scene of all the women voting and wiping their lipstick off and also like the facts at the end made me weepy
