this fuckin movie bro istg. it started off normal just like at a circus and then by the end it went completely off the rails (literally) and there was a massive train crash and then they had to perform the show with like no equipment?? idk, it was very silly. personally i loved it but i think i am the only person that did, even though in won best picture it’s pretty much disliked by critics and normal people alike. which is kind of crazy cause i’ve never seen a best picture with such a low rotten tomatoes score

okay i just checked it’s the 3rd worst out of all of them. which is crazy cause i did not think it was that bad at all, i laughed out loud so many times. and the weird side plot of jimmy stewart as clown because he’s on the lam?? like what’s not to love?? anyway overall thoughts this is epic and everyone else can suck my dick 

although i will say the actual circus part of it was slightly boring, especially the bit where the two trapeze artists were competing and at one point the were just sitting on chairs in the trapeze. which like yeah is dangerous but it’s not very interesting to watch at all, i much prefer to watch simple tricks that are more interesting than hard things that look boring. also not just the trapeze that whole circus seemed very boring. like most of it’s just weird parades?? and then the elephants as well. they were so cute ugh. but i did feel terrible for all the animals kept in captivity, especially the hippo because they normally spend like all their time underwater. okay yes overall 10/10 very silly very fun i love the dynamics between the characters and im too much of a coward to give it 5 stars
