The Los Angeles City Employees Asian American Association is an affirmative action employee association that represents, protects, and assists its members in preparing for promotional examinations, training, education, networking, and work-related problems. Established in 1973, LACEAAA has been serving its Asian Pacific Islander American members for over forty years. LACEAAA members include a diverse group of working professionals from the many City departments that serve the residents of Los Angeles. Membership is open to any City employee regardless of race or ethnicity. Through LACEAAA, all members have an opportunity to network, meet life-long friends gain career advancement and leadership development skills.

To establish and maintain a permanent non-profit organization for the mutual benefit of Association members.

To actively support the interests of Asian-Americans in City Service.

To work toward the achievement of these goals in concert with other City and community organizations.
