Hotels
There is no list of recommended hotels. The hotels closest to the conference venue, which avoid traffic jams, are located in the northern suburbs of Tunis (La Marsa, SidiBou Said, Carthage, Gammarth). You can also stay in hotels at the Berges du Lac. The centre of Tunis remains a possibility but traffic jams can occur when travelling to the conference venue.

From the airport to the hotel
The most convenient way is to take a taxi. There are always some outside the airport. But be sure to take a taxi from the taxi station (parking in a left line when leaving), have local currency before leaving the airport and ask the driver to turn on the meter. For example, a race from the airport to a hotel in the northern suburbs is around 10 Tunisian dinars. The trip can be increased if the trip is made at night.
From the hotel to the conference venue
Depending on the hotel chosen, you can ask the hotel reception to call a taxi (the most convenient) or take the TGM and get off at the "Carthage Hannibal" station.
The TGM (Tunis-Goulette-Marsa) is a train that connects Tunis and La Marsa. It passes through La Goulette, Le Kram, Salambo, Carthage, SidiDhrif and SidiBou Said.
For a number of nearby hotels, travel can be done by foot. And the journey is pleasant!
