PhD Awarded - 

"Avinash Singh Thakur, was awarded a Ph.D. on the topic 'राष्ट्रीय प्रौद्योगिकीय संस्थानों के पुस्तकालय में स्वचालन एवं डिजिटल पुस्तकालय की वस्तुस्थिति और उपयोगकर्ता संतुष्टि का अध्ययन : मध्य भारत के विशेष संदर्भ में ' under the supervision of Dr. Sangeeta Singh from the Department of Library and Information Science at Dr. C.V. Raman University, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh."

"Dr. Kundan, was awarded a Ph.D. on the topic 'Content Analysis of University Library Websites: A Comparative Study (Special Reference to Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh)' under the supervision of Dr. Sarita Mishra from the Department of Library and Information Science at Dr. C.V. Raman University, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh."

Rajya Sabha MP Rajeev Shukla has recommended ₹5.7 crore for two digital libraries in Chhattisgarh — ₹3 crore for Bhanupratappur (Kanker) and ₹2.7 crore for Jamul (Durg). These libraries will serve 250–300 people each and offer modern infrastructure and digital education tools. Dr. Kundan, a key figure in the state's library movement, played a central role in planning the projects. The initiative aims to promote digital literacy and inclusive education in rural and semi-urban areas.
