Presentation Instructions

Oral Presentations

A laptop computer running a Japanese version of Windows 10 will be available in the hall where oral presentations will take place. Presenters are encouraged to present from their own devices if there are any concerns about the rendering of slides by an unfamiliar operating system.

HDMI and VGA connectors, as well as adapters for Lightning, USB-C, and Macintosh display connectors, will be available.

30-minute time slots include 20 minutes for presentation and 9 minutes for questions and discussion, leaving one minute for transitions between presentations. Please follow instructions from session chairs.

Presenters are welcome to load their slides on the available laptop and/or encouraged to confirm connectivity of their own device during the 10 minutes before the start of the session in which they are presenting.

Poster Presentations

Posters will be wall-mounted and panel-mounted with materials for affixing them provided by the workshop.

Posters should conform to one of the following standard print sizes and may be formatted in either portrait or landscape orientation:

Rooms will be open from 8:30am, and posters must be in place before the start of the Poster session at 1:00pm.

The poster session takes place on Saturday, May 18th, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Presenters should be at their posters throughout the duration of the session.
