Hello!

I'm Kyle Werner, a graduate student at the Iowa State Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication and the education and ISU reporter for the Ames Voice, an up-and-coming nonprofit newsroom. 

I graduated from Simpson College in 2024 with my Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Journalism after two years of student newspaper leadership. 

I have covered a wide range of content, but some of the work I have been most proud of includes long-form human interest stories and the history of Iowa.
