For this project, I had to collect four different media type of an image, animation, audio, and video. Then for those selected media, I had to credit them appropriately.
This is an image of a Game Boy Advance. I found this image using the Creative Commons search engine and typing in Game Boy advance. I was then given a link to a Wikipedia Commons webpage.
The webpage was made by the user, Evan-Amos, who released his work to the public domain. So, anyone has the right to use this work for any purpose, without any conditions, unless such conditions are required by law.
To the left is a looping gif of someone drawing themselves and the drawing drawing themselves. I had found this gif on Giphy.
There was no information I could find on who had uploaded the gif, but according to Giphy's terms of service, by agreeing to their terms of service, you are allowed to use the content on their site for personal use, but you can not use it for commercial use.
I found this audio sample on Freesound. I had looked up audience clapping and picked a source that was one of the most downloaded. And I had downloaded it to my Google Drive, before embedding it onto this page.
This sound file is shared under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license. Which allows people to be able to share the material with other people and devices, and adapt the material by remixing, transforming, or building upon the material. As long as you don't use it for commercial use, give the appropriate credit, a link to the license, and indicate any changes done to the media.
To the left is a youtube video made by the user, Seananners Gaming Channel. I had found this video by searching, Hunted by Morgan Freeman, on Youtube's search engine.
This video was uplaoded by "Seananners Gaming Channel", and it has a standard license, this allows you to be able to share the video to other people and devices, but you must credit the original creator of the video.
During this project, I learned a few new things. I learned that in order to get a sound file onto google sites you would need to download the audio file onto your google drive, and embed the link of the audio file into google sites. I also learned that their are a lot more lincenses for intellectual property than I had previously thought.
