Develop a project, oversee it, and deliver! Leading and communicating are key to project management. I have developed skills and tools to help projects pursue their goals, stay on track, and make a difference.
Policy/Program Development
Let's explore the options! There will always be options in policy and program development. I can work through these options, assess advantages and disadvantages, and work to accommodate different perspectives in addressing new or old policy/programming issues.
Policy Consultation and Engagement
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants. There is an expectation that we can and should build in the lived experiences and expertise of others. I have planned, participated in, and provided feedback on consultation and engagement projects in government and in the community.
Communications
Messages matter! Messaging and communications work needs to be clear, accurate, timely, and meaningful. I can communicate complex ideas for wide audiences and work with a team to craft messaging that is useful for experts and the general public.
Results and Evaluation
So what? We need to know if we are having an impact and we need to know if our efforts, resources, or programs are achieving their desired results. I can help answer questions about policy/program effectiveness, I can develop evaluation strategies, and I can help establish the corporate data collection and reporting needed to satisfy results and evaluation reporting.
Workplace Service and Corporate Engagement
There is always more to work than working on projects, delivering outputs, presenting ideas, or identifying issues. Work is inherently social and the modern workplace needs to be a positive, thriving, and welcoming space. I add to the typical nine to five by championing workplace initiatives including the workplace charitable campaign and wellness activities.
