County Agricultural Investment Program (CAIP)
Now Accepting 2024 Applications

CAIP provides cost share assistance and initiatives for practices that will help generate farm income, add value to products and diversify agricultural operations.
CAIP CHANGES EFFECTIVE NOW:
Signups for 2024 CAIP will be held until March 1st through March 31st, 2024. Approval notices will be mailed mid-April. Expenses may be reimbursed as soon as approvals are granted, and the deadline to complete projects will be October 31st, 2024. See a summary of the changes below.
A copy of your driver's license, or equivalent ID, and a utility bill displaying the same address must be submitted with your application.
Only residents of Kentucky are eligible to apply.
CAIP Signups: March 1st - March 31st
Approval and waitlist notifications will be sent by mid-April.
Applications Due: March 31st
CAIP Deadline: October 31st, 2024
Eligible Expenses: September 1, 2023 to October 31st, 2024
