Your UPIKE email will be the only way many departments will contact you. It is important to go ahead and log into your email to ensure it is working and check back often for Student Affairs and Financial Aid communications.
You will be required to log in with the user name and password you were given. In order to prevent unauthorized access to your e-mail, it is recommended that you close your web browser immediately after logging out of your e-mail.
At a future date, your account will also grant you access to the UPIKE services such as Webadvisor, and Canvas Learning Management System. Canvas is utilized for on-line courses and traditional courses with an on-line enhancement component. myUPIKE Portal provides access to your personal student data such as final grades, class schedules, etc. These resources will be made available to you at the point you will need to use them.
Passwords:
Please visit our myPassword SelfService site (mypassword.upike.edu) and register your account by logging in with your new UPIKE computer account information. At this site you will have the ability to reset your password and also unlock your account. The registration is simple and quick and will save you lots of valuable time in the future. You will be required to change your password every 90 days. In addition, multiple incorrect login attempts can lock your account and render it temporarily disabled. At the myPassword SelfService site you can unlock the account yourself as long as you are registered.
IMPORTANT:
It is very important that you log out of any public-access computer after you are finished. If you do not log off of the Computer and another person violates UPIKE IT’S Computer Use and Abuse Policy responsibility ultimately falls upon the user logged in.
Do not give your password to anyone. You should hold your password in the same degree of privacy as you would your ATM Card PIN, your car keys, or other sensitive personal property.
