APPEARANCE: A cliché pretty business man trope sort of guy. He’s tall, handsome, blond, and always looks like he’s dissatisfied with his surroundings. He’s usually very well put together and proper and can look very out of place in casual surroundings. His hair is neat and not a strand out of place. He can usually be seen wearing a neutral expression or one of mild judgement. Everything about his appearance is controlled and policed. The only indication of any sort of legitimate personality you may get from him is if you pay attention to his eyes. Everything else from his posture to his clothing to his tone of voice is usually very flat, monotonous, and cold.

OTHER NAMES: Nothing widely accepted aside from Mr. Thompson. He’ll tolerate pet names from legitimate lovers, but he by no means enjoys them. In some circles he is known as The demon of Wall Street -—much to his chagrin.

LURES: Clark is drawn to intelligence and good conversation. He likes challenges and he likes the idea of being himself without fear of judgement or scorn. He’s drawn to confidence and those who question the status quo and carry themselves with pride. Much as you would expect a demonic creature to be, he is drawn to danger above all else.

SAVVIES: He is best at talking. He brings a new meaning to having a silver tongue. Despite his ability to be physical and harsh, he’s more prone to resorting to the diplomatic approach first. A very versed and well-taught man, he carries himself with dignity and knows how to talk circles around people. He prides himself in being a business man and knows how to close deals with ease.

Cuisine wise, he’s always handled coffee during his prolonged lifetime. He’s pretty damn good at making a mean cup of coffee and is kind of a snob about it.

  For all his awkwardness and dryness, he can be very charming when he wants or needs to be. It’s in his blood, literally, to be appealing and charismatic.

  Clark is very sharp and quick on his mental toes. This shows both through his impressive conversation skills and through his ability to discern and diffuse hostile situations.

• Survivalist;
  Very capable of using his charm and wit to talk himself out of danger. He’s also very aware of his surroundings; this enables him to flee from danger before things get bad.

•  Kind;
  Despite outward appearances and behavior, Clark is very compassionate and understanding if you qualify to gain that sort of attention from him. Despite his sometimes fleeting nature, he’s always there for a good talk. If you’re within his trusted circle, you can be confident he’ll at least PRETEND to give a shit about your problems.

  Though he may appear as very calm and mild-mannered, this is only due to years and years of self-control and practice. In reality, Clark actually has a rather short fuse. He will often leave a volatile situation to avoid losing his nerve since his powers do tend to flare up out of his control when he becomes overly emotional.

• Self-loathing/Distant;
  He is very scared of being hurt emotionally and distances himself as a means to survive and avoid it. He is so used to being hated and loathed by total strangers that he sort of expects everyone to hate him and doesn’t think very highly of himself personally. Granted, he does not show this. If anything, he assumes people hate him and he hates them right back.

• Narcissistic;
  He’s the worst type of narcissist. He is the type who can somehow hate himself with a deep-seeded and burning intensity and yet still hold himself upon a higher level than everyone else. He has a blatant superiority complex. And, while some of this behavior could be him trying to make himself feel less like shit–some of it is genuine. He loves and hates himself on a very complex level.

EMOTIONAL STABILITY: Horrible. He keeps everything bottled up and is prone to meltdowns and explosions. He has a short temper that he manages to control out of necessity and years of practice. He is anything but stable.

HUMOR: Dry and dark. VERY sarcastic. His humor is usually at the expense of someone else's ego.

REPUTATION: He doesn’t have a huge one, but he is known for being useful but pretty nasty in some small circles. He can be a good asset but is also a cock and isn’t someone you want to annoy or associate with at all. He’s intolerable and is typically regarded as a 'no other options left' individual.

STATUS: Financially he is up there. He likes the finer things in life and has a lucrative lifestyle. Socially, he’s low. He’s not a nice individual, is snooty, and is a child of a human and a demon, and makes enemies as a hobby. He’s an abomination to most and a loathed threat to others.

EDUCATION: While he is constantly learning and expanding his knowledge, he only has a Computer Science degree on paper. He went to college normally back in his youth, died, and now he can’t exactly get actual degrees since he’s immortal and legally dead. Sooooo

OCCUPATION: Currently, he bounces between whatever he feels like. Primarily, he owns a small chain of cafes he started. Sometimes he will dabble in the work of a crossroads demon and will make deals and pacts. But, for the most part, he’s self-employed and just does whatever he feels like.

PERSONALITY ANIMA: At his core, Clark is the cliche type with a soft center. It’s hidden behind many, MANY well-built walls, but it’s there. He’s been through a lot of shit and feeling means being vulnerable and being vulnerable means being hurt. Before his death, he was just a gentle giant who was a hopeless romantic asshole who liked coffee way too much and loved romcoms. Deep, deep down he’s still that guy. He’s broken and not quite right and will NEVER be how he used to be, but he’s not completely and wholly as dead inside as he may appear. It’s just important to note that his jagged edges are not just a farce and for show. While he’s a secret softy trope, that doesn’t mean he’s not incapable of being truly vile and villainous. 

PERSONA: While it’s not completely a persona, he does play it up. He conveys himself as being cold and unfeeling. He’s dry and professional and can be ruthless. He does not allow his sympathies to be preyed upon and can be described as heartless at times. He finds it important to let others know he means business and that he will not be taken advantage of.
