PhD Scholar
Mr. Kundan Kumar Yadav (Jan 2025 - Present)
Research area: Topology optimization for enhancing cooling performance.
Bio: I completed my B.Tech. in mechanical engineering from Bhagalpur College of Engineering in 2020 and my M.Tech. in 2022 from NIT Rourkela. Currently, I am working on the topology optimization of heat transfer surfaces for enhancing overall thermal performance. I am working on generating a new design concept for heat exchangers and their experimental validation using a liquid cooling loop. I have extensively worked on simulations using ANSYS Fluent during my master's course. I have studied heat transfer enhancements in mixed convection and the effect of various parameters.

Mr. Abhiram Vijayaraj
Project: Thermal Cloak
Bio: Hi, I am Abhiram Vijayaraj, an undergraduate student in at IIT Kharagpur enrolled in the dual degree course in the department of mechanical engineering. I have an avid interest in solving real world problems using computational fluid dynamics and have worked on multiple mechatronics and control logic related problems involving implementing and tuning of dynamic systems such as servo actuated platforms. I am currently working on convective thermal cloaking and am looking forward to integrating PINN for faster and more adaptive modelling of heat transfer phenomena
