Founded in 1998, Japan Parliamentary Debate Union (JPDU) is a non-profit, college-oriented debating union representing Japan. Over 26 member institutions with 500 college debaters, JPDU aims for the advancement of debating communities in Japan, such as supporting debaters through hosting events (i.e. Nationals, Seminars) and promoting debating activities.

Kumamoto NEADC 2024 is led by convenors hugely trusted by the Japan circuit. Having multiple achievements working for the debating circuit, including the work as the President of JPDU, the two have closely been working together with the Kumamoto City Government and other related organizations to make Kumamoto 2024 a successful in-person Japan NEADC for the first time in 8 years.

日本パーラメンタリーディベート連盟は、日本を代表する大学ディベートに特化した非営利の連盟として、1998年に設立されました。26大学から500名以上の学生ディベーターが所属しており、全国大会や国際大会の開催・セミナーの実施などを通して、ディベートコミュニティの発展とディベート活動の普及に務めております。

熊本大会は、国内のディベートコミュニティで最も信頼されている総責任者によって率いられています。JPDU代表としての取り組みなど多大なる実績を重ねている2名が、熊本市や関連企業と協力して、8年ぶりの国内対面開催の成功へ取り組んでいます。
