Explore and protect biodiversity in Sweden.
We organize forest hikes, species-spotting trips, workshops with ecologists, etc. Whether you want to learn about local flora & fauna or spend time in nice forests this project connects you with nature and sustainability in a tangible way.
Rescue surplus food and prevent waste.
We cooperate with local actors to collect leftover edible food and redistribute it within the student community. The goal is to reduce food waste while raising awareness about food systems and responsible consumption.
Bring sustainability to social life.
We host relaxed, fun events that build community and spark conversations: movie nights, board-game evenings, outdoor picnics, sustainability-themed workshops, and more. A great way to meet others, have fun, learn by heart Princess Mononoke's music.
Transform campus food systems.
We advocate for more plant-based menu options in cafeterias, coordinate tasting events, share recipes, and collaborate with KTH’s catering services. The aim is to make plant-forward eating accessible, tasty, and normalized across the university.
Best workshops ever
Participants build a co-created understanding of climate science and discuss impacts, causes, and solutions. It’s a powerful tool for collaborative learning and inspiring climate action among the society.
Replace disposable cups with reusable systems.
By plane ? No thanks !
We promote sustainable mobility by making train travel more accessible and appealing to students.
Revive and reuse together.
We host repair events where students can bring broken electronics, clothing and more to fix them with help and shared tools. The project nurtures a repair culture, builds skills, and reduces waste by extending the life of everyday items.
Map sustainability in Stockholm.
We maintain Smartakartan, an interactive map that catalogs eco-friendly services, repair centers, recycling hubs, sustainable shops, and green events around the city.
The idea is there, all that's left is to put it into practice !
What's up in KTH ?
Articles highlighting the amazing sustainability projects and research happening at KTH. Short articles and interviews make it easy to stay inspired and discover what students and researchers are working on.
Nice, sustainable and interesting
Team up with friends, pick a sustainability topic, and turn your research into a creative poster. The best posters will be showcased at the Climate Action Centrer with students voting for their favorite and a prize for the winner.
Get fresh, organic food baskets straight from local farmers to campus.
Students sign up for a few months at a time and pick up their basket once a week at KTH, choosing from veggies, eggs, bread, honey, and more. Every krona goes directly to the farmers, so you support fair pay while enjoying high-quality, local produce with less plastic and waste.
