On October 4th, Ta tillbaka framtiden, Fridays for Future, and End Fossil Finance are teaming up to take over Cyklopen in Stockholm for a night of music, dancing, and climate action.

This benefit party raises awareness and funds for the fight against fossil finance and you’re invited to be part of it !

How can stories make science come alive for communities ? What tools and techniques can we make use of to bridge the gap between research and action?

📍 Climate Action Center 

This sharing session—part of the Understanding Himalayas initiative—invites participants to explore how stories can make science come alive at the community level. Drawing from his work in Nepal’s Himalayan region, the speaker will share real-world experiences from farmers’ markets, carbon tracking in crafts, low-carbon tourism, and post-disaster recovery. Together with the participants, he will discuss how localized storytelling, visual tools, and participatory media can bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and local action. Grounded in local culture, indigenous knowledge, and language, these approaches can inspire behavior change, build trust, and help shape policies that truly work for communities.

This months critical mass is approaching and we want to celebrate it together! 

We will start with a Bike Repair Workshop in the Climate Action Center. Bring your bikes for a quick fix and learn about repairing bikes.🛠

Afterwards we will head to the Critical Mass together and have a nice evening riding our bikes through the streets of stockholm. 🚲🚲🚲
